Our provider, Dr. SeJung “Scott” Shin received his Bachelor’s of Science degree from California Institute of Technology (CALTECH) in 1986 and his medical degree from the University of Illinois in Chicago in 1990.  He completed an emergency medicine residency at Wayne State University and served as a chief resident.  After his board certification in Emergency Medicine, Dr. Shin has worked as Emergency Room physician for 15 years  in Chicago, California, Washington, Oregon hospitals.

Dr. Shin is very active in his church, and has been married to his high-school sweetheart “Kitty” for twenty years; they have two children together.  In his off-time, his hobbies include golfing and traveling to various locations throughout the Pacific Northwest, Alaska, and distant New Zealand to experience the beauty of nature and pursue his passion of Fly Fishing.  He speaks fluent Korean and English.
